Hello and happy Saturday my friends! The Meista here today pairing "Liveage!" by the Descendants and the SLC Pils from the fine folks at Proper Brewing Company! Hell yeah!
Album Info:
- Artist: Descendants

- Musical style: Punk rock, hardcore punk
- Sound: Hugely influential on modern day punk rock, the band's sound is upbeat, fast, raw, and aggressive, yet very poppy and accessible. Of the band's sound, Aukerman stated: "We started drinking too much coffee; 'cause of that and the addition of me, the music became very quick and all about bursts of energy. It's interesting: we started very melodic, then moved to hardcore, but melded the two at a certain point and became melodic hardcore."
- Major themes: Humorous and wonderfully sarcastic, themes on the album include social criticism greed, sociopolitical commentary, rebellion, youth, life, love, relationships, etc.
- Notes: Of the album, Stevenson stated: "The Liveage! LP served as a sort of "greatest hits" album, as well as being an accurate documentary of the band in concert."
