I recently was lucky enough to receive an advanced digital teaser of the upcoming Absolon album, "The Blood Seed", an album I've been greatly anticipating since the announcement of its creation this past year. After several listens, I gotta say, this album is phenomenal, and every track really packs a punch! It is one killer release that you will definitely want to own!
Led by visionary Ken Pike (vocals, songwriting, production), Absolon blends traditional heavy metal with more progressive elements. If you are a fan of bands like Dio, Fates Warning, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Queensrÿche, etc., then you will totally dig this! Ken is joined by two incredibly talented musicians: guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, and sound engineer Alex Repetti, (Infinite Spectrum, Severed Angel, and Tension Rising) and monster drummer Wayne Noon (Project Resurrect and Severed Angel).
