- Taste: The taste of the Buoy Double IPA follows the nose with lots of zesty, punchy, hoppy, and malty flavors. There are notes of pink grapefruit juice, tangerine, orange zest and pith, black tea, earthy pine resin, black pepper, and sweet caramel and burnt toffee.
- Mouthfeel: Full-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is thick and sticky, yet crisp with a dry, bittersweet and slightly boozy finish.
Overall pairing: The Double IPA from Buoy Beer Company is bold, punchy, yet crushable DIPA... perfect for the rock and roll sensibility and electrifying punch of Def Leppard's highly energetic and entertaining "Yeah!" record! Those bittersweet hop notes go great with Elliot's vocals and the fiery guitars, while the malty backbone is right in line with the thunderous and heavy-duty rhythm section. 'Nuff said!
Cheers!! Rock on!!
