- Ingredients: 2-Row, roasted barley, flaked oats, Caramel 60, chocolate malt and black malt with lactose. Hopped with East Kent Golding and Fuggle hops then fermented with Imperial Darkness.
- Pour: The Leche Negra pours a deep, dark brown (almost ink black) color with a creamy, half-finger, light mocha head with good retention and sticky, sudsy lacing.
- Nose: The nose is roasty, toasty, malty, chocolaty, and slightly sweet. There are aromas of dark chocolate syrup, milk chocolate, cocoa, dark toasted bread, roasted malts, dark roasted coffee beans, oak, vanilla beans, and burnt toffee.
- Taste: The taste of the Leche Negra follows the nose with notes of espresso, dark chocolate, milk chocolate cocoa, rich vanilla, fresh cream, a hint of black licorice, and hints of bittersweet toffee.
- Mouthfeel: Full-bodied with low carbonation, the mouthfeel of the Leche Negra is velvety smooth, thick, and creamy with a dry, slightly bitter, and sweet finish.
