- Pour: The Cosmic Little Thing pours a cloudy, golden yellow hue with a frothy, eggshell white, 1+ finger head with great retention and lots of sticky, intricate lacing
- Nose: The nose is citrusy, herbal, floral, and malty. There are aromas of grapefruit rind, orange peel, mango, pineapple, herbal tea, fresh garden herbs, wildflowers, white pepper, and sweet caramel.
- Taste: The taste of the Cosmic Little Thing follows the nose with lots of citrusy, resinous, and malty flavors. There are notes of orange juice and pith, pink grapefruit juice, tangerine, pineapple, bready malts, and sweet toffee.
- Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied and moderately carbonated, the mouthfeel is thick, yet crisp and refreshing with a dry, bittersweet finish.
Overall pairing: The Sierra Nevada Cosmic Little Thing IPA is a bold, punchy, hop-forward, yet crushable and tasty brew... great for the intense and progressive grooves and chord changes of Voivod's inventive, inspirational, heavily influential, and very intense "Killing Technology"! 'Nuff said!
