• Major themes: Dripping with sarcasm, dark humor, and a "fuck you" attitude, themes on the album include rebellion, anarchy, psychological scars, politics, commercialism, consumerism, etc.  The title track is a medley of 6 covers of sappy pop songs that are strung together to create a story line about falling in love, an unplanned pregnancy, marriage, and divorced.

• ABV: 9.5%
• Ingredients: Imported 2 row malts, Belgian yeast, and whole flower European hops and coriander seed.
• Pour: Hazy pear-gold with a thin, bright white head that dissipates quickly, leaving a very thin ring.
• Nose: The nose is characterized by spicy, phenolic, yeasts, and fruity/estery aromas.  There are notes of banana, pink bubble gum, coriander, cloves, nutmeg, mellow malt and caramel.
• Taste: Like the nose, the flavor is full of complex and fruity Belgian notes.  There are flavors of soft banana, orange zest, bubble gum, coriander, rich spices, and complex yeast.
• Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied and fully carbonated, the mouthfeel is frothy, creamy, and sticky with a dry and sharp finish with some slight booziness.

Overall pairing: What I've always loved about the Circle Jerks and specifically Morris' lyrics and vocals is the rebellious punk anger tempered with whimsical and sarcastic humor.  I think this goes great with the Golden Monkey's fruity, complex, and very punchy flavor and depth.
