- Sound: Full of hooks, catchy lyrics, and in-your-face rockin', "Stick It To Ya" was probably one of the very last successful glam rock albums as the grunge movement would come rolling in soon after it was released. Say what you will of the '80s excessive glam metal bands, but they knew how to rock... and Slaughter was definitely one of those wonderfully fun and talented bands!

- Brew: Pinner Throwback IPA
- Style: American India Pale Ale (IPA)
- Serving: 12 ounce can
- ABV: 4.9%
- IBUs: 35
- Pour: Clear, bronze-amber with a big, billowy and frothy 2+ finger head that displays intricate lacing throughout.
- Nose: The nose is citrusy, fruity, floral, earthy, and malty. There are aromas of mango, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon zest, and tangerine along with a little pine resin, wild flowers, and biscuity malty.
- Taste: The taste of the Pinner is like the nose... lots of citrus, tropical fruit, and floral hops well-balanced with a solid malt backbone. There are notes of pink grapefruit juice, tangerine, mango, passionfruit, pineapple, crackery biscuit, fresh bread, light pine, and light spices.
- Mouthfeel: Light in body with good carbonation, the mouth feel of the Pinner is very crisp, very smooth, slightly oily, and very refreshing with a clean, dry finish.
Overall pairing: The punchy, fast, fun, rockin' sound on Slaughter's "Stick It To Ya" is perfect for the very drinkable and inviting, yet biting flavor the Pinner Throwback IPA from Oskar Blues Brewing Company! The lower AVB of the beer and the catchiness metal stylings on the album make for a great Monday night of unwinding!
Cheers!!
