Hello!  The Meista here today on this beautiful Sunday pairing the wonderful "Lime And Limpid Green" EP by The Claypool Lennon Delirium and a Dayglow IPA from Elysian Brewing Company!

• Pour: The Dayglow IPA pours a hazy copper-amber hue.  The head is a thick and creamy, 1+ finger, light beige with good retention and intricate lacing.
• Nose: The nose is malty, tropical, earthy, and citrusy.  There are aromas of cracked wheat, caramel, fresh bread, pineapple, grapefruit rind, tangerine, mango, and light pine resin.
• Taste: The taste  of the Dayglow IPA follows the nose with lots of tropical fruit, citrus, and malt flavors.  There are notes of pineapple, mango, grapefruit, biscuity cracker, light pine, and sweet caramel.
• Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel of the Dayglow IPA is juicy, crisp, yet malty with a dry, slightly bitter finish.

Overall pairing:  The Claypool Lennon Delirium's "Lime And Limpid Green" is a wonderful tribute to the original musicians and tracks; the Elysian Brewing Dayglow IPA is a tasty and complex brew.  Together they make for a fantastic companionship!  And make sure you catch The Claypool Lennon Delirium on tour now!  I just saw them this past Friday and it was AMAZING!!
