Hello and happy Labor Day rockers, roller, headbangers, and craft brew lovers!  The Meista here on this sunny holiday with a pairing of the rockin' "Dr. Feelgood" by the infamous Mötley Crüe and a very tasty and tart Jump Tart My Start Tropical Cooler Sour from the fine folks at Drekker Brewing Company in collaboration with Berlin Beer Company!  Hells yes!

• Pour: The Jump Tart My Start pours an opaque, very bright, golden yellow hue with a 1-finger, frothy and sustained light yellow head with great retention and lots of sticky, intricate lacing.
• Nose: The nose is characterized by tart, sweet, and fruity tropical and citrus notes.  There are aromas of freshly cut pineapple, nutty coconut, passionfruit, guava, kiwi, lime, lemon, and a slight hint of honey.
• Taste: The taste of the Jump Tart My Start follows the nose with tart, sweet, and very fruity flavors.  There are bold, yet refreshing notes of juice pineapple, passionfruit, kiwi, lime juice and zest, coconut, orange juice, lemon juice and zest, and a light splash of honey.
• Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied and well-carbonated, the mouthfeel of the Jump Tart My Start is very crisp and tart, yet creamy, slightly thick, and smooth with tart and slightly sweet finish.

Overall pairing: The Drekker / Berlin Beer Jump Tart My Start Tropical Cooler Sour is a very refreshing and crushable, yet flavorful brew ... a perfect companion to the heavy-duty rock and roll onslaught that is the Crüe's classic "Dr. Feelgood"!  Those big sweet and sour notes go great with the heavy punch of Mars' fiery guitars, the thunderous rhythms of Lee and Six, and Neil's vocals!  I also like the look of the beer label next to the incredible album art!
