• Pour: The  Ale pours a clear bronze-amber with a frothy, 2+ finger, off-white head with great retention and sticky, sudsy lacing.
• Nose: The nose is dank, citrusy, tropically fruity, and herbal.  There are aromas of freshly grapefruit rind, mangos, melon, pine resin, black tea, and a hint of sweet caramel.
• Taste: The taste follows the nose with lots of citrus, tropical fruit, and bitter flavors, and a hint of sweet malt.  There are notes of pink grapefruit, tangerine, mango, pineapple, pine, black tea, black pepper, and booze.
• Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied with moderate carbonation, the Super Cluster Ale's mouthfeel is very crisp and  with a bitter finish.

Overall pairing: The Lagunitas Super Cluster Ale is a complex, punchy, and aggressive, yet very drinkable brew... right in line with the power metal insanity of Gloryhammer's "Space 1992: Rise Of The Chaos Wizards"!   Those bright, citrusy flavors and aromas go great with the soaring guitar, keys, and vocals!
